Assorted Misfits is an Alliance guild on the PVP Bonechewer Server. Assorted Misfits was started by a group of people that were tired of the drama of their old guilds, and random Kara Pug’s and so sought to start a friendly and casual raiding guild.
Our guild is mainly comprised of several in real life circles of friends which provide a stable membership base and keeps turnover and drama to a minimum.
Progression
We currently have Kara on Farm Status and do weekly full clears. We have just started to venture into ZA and have 3 bosses down in our second attempt at ZA. We are at the stage where we would like to grow so that we can begin doing 25man raids and have opened up recruiting to meet this goal.
Raiding Times
Being a casual raiding guild we tend to raid primarily on the weekends. Currently we raid at between 4:30 and 5pm server time on Friday and Saturday evenings. As our guild grows and we expand into new content we will most likely expand in other time slots including a later raid slot that is more west-coast friendly. While nothing is set in stone, the most likely future raiding times will be Wednesday evening and either Saturday/Sunday morning.
Additional Information
(1) Keep in mind that we’re looking for active people that can make raids 1-2 nights a week, typically on Friday and Saturday Nights. We will have set times and are east coast friendly. We’re seeking individuals who will be active and reliable so that we can progress as a guild and learn to play together to better our performance. Most of our initial success is do to being very well coordinated and playing as a team as opposed to strictly gear. It is ok, if you are new to raiding if you’re willing to put in the effort to learn.
(2) We ask that you come with a willing attitude to raid and put forth 100% effort. The rest of the raid counting on you to do your job so we ask that you always be prepared with whatever necessary materials, consumables, etc. On progression nights that includes flasks/food/oils/pots/etc
(3) Being a friendly, relaxed attitude guild. We understand that raiding can sometimes be frustrating while people learn encounters or things may happen beyond our control compounded with the former, but we ask that you come with a positive attitude and have fun. We’d simply like to occupy our time casually.
(4) Understand that while we aim to have fun, we also expect people to be serious when necessary so that we can accomplish our current objective. If you have any problems with wanting to be the best geared, expecting special treatment, or simply can’t work with a team, this is not the place for you.
(5) At this time we currently prefer players over the age of 18 as we tend to be a mature raiding guild with Wife/Family/etc obligations and have found that people with similar backgrounds tend to "fit in" the best.
